National Education Directorate of Soke District, in Aydin, Turkey, is a governmental organization in charge with the planning and coordination of all kinds of educational and training activities in in pre-school, primary, secondary and adult education in Soke district in Aydin.
Our institution includes many departments such as: training teachers and In Service Training, Adult Education, Culture, Health, Research and Development Projects, Special Education and Guidance, and Sports Departments. In addition, it provides, together with Ministry of Education and Aydin Province National Education Directorate, financial support and investment for above mentioned institutions and departments. The institution is responsible for 1258 teachers, 35 full time working staff, 24,805 students, 57 pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational schools, 1 private school and 1 In-Service and Adult Education Center.
Our institution creates Projects in local, national and international levels. It is in cooperation with other local, regional and national institutions since it is a state organization. On international level, our institution has just built a project research and development department which helps the educational institutions to prepare LLP projects (Comenius, Leonardo, Grundtvig, Youth Programmes) and find suitable partners from EU countries. Our institution wants to involve in EU projects and encourages other institutions to take part in these kinds of projects. Last year two different schools took part in Comenius projects and two years ago our vocational school took part in Leonardo and our Public Education Center in Grundtvig project.
Gof
Gestión, Orientación y Formación is an institution dedicated to training and consultancy in education and is formed by a group of professionals linked to the world of education with more than 15 years of experience. GOF was founded in 2001, in order to meet the growing demand of the society that needed to be prepared to enter properly to modern and different world, both for children and adult people in order to give them possibility to keep learning.
Nowadays we organize educational services, training and other educational activities, supported by use of new technologies of information and communication. GOF has a great experience in developing training plans both for individuals and big groups and is used to implement them in education centres in Spain and creating projects funded by European Union. We collaborate with private and public institutions that operate at the community level in Andalusia and whole Spain. We have also every skills needed to develop training, research and co-funded by European Union projects and we have developed a few project with three important institutions from Romania.
In this project we will be coordinator of all activities and of all partners work. We will create official web site and blog of the project and will be responsible for its up-datings. We will prepare evaluation and learners self-esteem evaluation tests, lectures about volunteering practices in Spain, visits in Spanish social services institution and will organize a cultural visit to Sacromonte Caves in order to give them to all learners possibility to know Flamenco and Spanish culture.

The Culture Community Centre in Zdunska Wola Has exists since 1961 and its tasks are following: recognition, fostering of interests and culture necessities, preparation to perception and creation of cultural values, creation of patterns of active culture participation, organization of projects which promote and present the cultural achievement in the country and abroad, cooperation with cultural institutions, educational-pedagogical units, foundations, regional and creative associations, communal government and all corporate bodies and private people who can offer their help in realization of the Culture Community Centre’s tasks.
The Culture Community Centre is the animator of many forma of artistic activities, the promoter of numerous competitions, exhibitions and concerts.
THE UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE functions within the structures of the Culture Community Centre in Zdunska Wola and implements educational and cultural program aimed at people who need continuing education, interests development and social inclusion.
UTA in Zdunska Wola is based on the Statute of the Culture Community Centre in Zdunska Wola, in particular on the implementation of tasks in the field of dissemination of culture.
The purpose of UTW in Zdunska Wola is:
- intellectual, psychological, social and physical activation of the elderly,
- improving the knowledge and skills of seniors,
- facilitating contacts with institutions such as health care, cultural centers, rehabilitation centers and others,
- involvement of students, activities to the benefit of their environment
- maintenance of social bonds and interpersonal communication among seniors.
UTA in Zdunska Wola is under the educational patronage of Social School of Management in Lodz. Lectures given by the university teaching staff concern such areas as art, literature, psychology, linguistics, history, social studies. The program is adjusted to the needs and expectations of the University students. At UTA, people can also develop the knowledge of computer science and foreign languages. Motor rehabilitation, swimming, dance and vocal courses run by specialists are also very popular. In January 2010, UTA hosted the English-speaking interns from Brazil, New Zealand and Indonesia within the “Third Age University" project in cooperation with the AISEC Organization. The task of the interns was to deliver a series of thematic lectures, as well as to familiarize students with the culture of the countries they came from.
